The facilities were well equipped, with many resources at your disposal. This was an extreme benefit. Additionally, the centre was very comfortable. The only small downside was that early on especially the technology was the easiest to use and sometimes hindered rather than helped the teaching process. However as the course continued this became less and less of a problem.

My tutors were both very supportive and made themselves readily available throughout the course, to me and my colleagues, to address any concerns or questions. They were also always willing to help with lesson planning giving guidance and ideas . The feedback they gave was fair, objective and constructive. Furthermore, they are both very knowledgeable in their fields and taught me many new concepts about language learning and teaching the English language.

This course has been very useful to me. It has given me the opportunity to further develop my teaching skills and grow my knowledge of both the English language and how language is learnt. Additionally, doing this course has provided me with the opportunity to get jobs in the international TEFL world.

If you are doing the full time course, ensure that you have a lot of free time and leave this free time ‘free’. This is because especially to the end of the course the workload increases and most days you’ll have unexpected work to do and very little time to do it. But aside from all the work of the course, just it enjoy it, enjoy the tutor your fellow trainees and your students and the whole process becomes a bit easier.

I’m on a gap year and will start university in September. Therefore from now until September I plan to work in the TEFL field. Additionally, during university I would like to teach part time.
