I had a wonderful experience completing my CELTA with the Buenos Aires centre! I was able to join them online after having done half of the course in Spain (I had to fly back home due to Coronavirus), and was welcomed immediately without any problems or complications. Our tutors were excellent, put a lot of time and effort into giving us constructive feedback.

On the CELTA course, the teacher training centre in Buenos Aires uses two fully-equipped classrooms for teaching practice and input sessions. Teachers have the use of a laptop and TV screen for showing video and audio, internet and PowerPoint presentations. There is a teachers’ room for planning and coffee breaks with free tea, coffee and biscuits available throughout the day. Candidates have full access to our computers and a well-stocked teaching library and there is also free WiFi throughout the school. Photocopying and printing for lesson handouts and portfolios are all included.
Our partner CELTA Centre in Buenos Aires is right in the centre of the capital, in between two metro stations. The area is full of bars, restaurants, shopping malls and convenience stores. The cinema is also just a few streets away from the centre on foot. Getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city is also made easy, as one of the city’s main parks is only a stone’s throw away. In terms of getting around, cycling in Buenos Aires is a great way to explore this vast capital. Options for public transport include buses and an underground metro system, one of the first to be introduced in South America.
