The Building

  • All classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with interactive whiteboards and free WiFi is available throughout the CELTA teacher training centre.
  • There are twelve classrooms, a student self-access centre, a photocopy area, a reception area and a study/library area. Students are free to use the school’s computers, all of which are permanently online.
  • There is also a fully equipped kitchen,  coffee area and an outside patio for those well needed breaks.


The study area is provided with computers and other devices which are free for students to use outside of CELTA lesson times. Free WiFi available throughout the building.

Food & Drink

There are coffee, drinks and food vending machines in the school. There are lots of cafes, snack bars & supermarkets nearby for buying lunch near the school. Students may enjoy their lunch on the school patio.


The CELTA centre in Palermo is situated right in the heart of the city. It is within walking distance of major supermarkets, bars and restaurants, and the city’s coastline. Getting around the city can easily be done on foot or by bus. The centre is also a 15-minute bus ride from Palermo’s central station, facilitating regional travel for a post-CELTA break!
