Each Friday afternoon Buenos Aires time candidates meet in a live Zoom session for two hours with the other candidates and our experienced Delta tutors to study one of the course subject areas and focus on one of the exam questions.
These modules are followed by a full mock exam and comprehensive written feedback from our Cambridge Delta Tutors, ahead of the Delta Module One exam itself, which is held on the first Wednesday of June and December.
The live input is complemented by a Google Classroom where self-study tasks, past papers, handouts and discussions preparing for and following up on the live sessions will be available.

Buenos Aires and Surroundings
Buenos Aires, located on the north-western shore, is the capital of Argentina and one of the largest cities in South America. Known as the ‘Paris’ of Latin America, the city is where European elegance meets Latin culture. This metropolis never sleeps, with its buzzing districts connecting one cobbled street to another, and quirky cafes and restaurants hosting both locals and tourists, you are sure to lose yourself in its art that thrives on sensuality.
The city is highly known for its wine and quality steaks amongst most of its visitors. However, there is nothing more quintessential to the true porteño (as people from Buenos Aires are called) lifestyle than leisurely drinking a good cup of coffee in one of the capital’s hip cafes, just as the sun begins to set.

On the CELTA course, the teacher training centre in Buenos Aires uses two fully-equipped classrooms for teaching practice and input sessions. Teachers have the use of a laptop and TV screen for showing video and audio, internet and PowerPoint presentations. There is a teachers’ room for planning and coffee breaks with free tea, coffee and biscuits available throughout the day. Candidates have full access to our computers and a well-stocked teaching library and there is also free WiFi throughout the school. Photocopying and printing for lesson handouts and portfolios are all included.
Our partner CELTA Centre in Buenos Aires is right in the centre of the capital, in between two metro stations. The area is full of bars, restaurants, shopping malls and convenience stores. The cinema is also just a few streets away from the centre on foot. Getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city is also made easy, as one of the city’s main parks is only a stone’s throw away. In terms of getting around, cycling in Buenos Aires is a great way to explore this vast capital. Options for public transport include buses and an underground metro system, one of the first to be introduced in South America.
By taking a CELTA course in Argentina, you will be acquiring a qualification recognised worldwide in a country with warmer weather and a dynamic culture. CELTA courses are designed for prospective teachers of English as a foreign or second language. As a CELTA trainee, you will get the chance to teach students of English as part of your teaching practice sessions as the CELTA combines both theory and practice. You can take our CELTA Eligibility Test if you are unsure whether you qualify to take a CELTA.
If want to take the next step in your TEFL career, you can apply for a DELTA course. Completing a DELTA qualification would earn you a diploma accredited by Cambridge University. It consists of 3 modules which can be taken separately in whichever order you like. DELTA modules require intense study through which you can expand your knowledge of TEFL. On the CELTA course, the teacher training centre in Buenos Aires uses two fully-equipped classrooms for teaching practice and input sessions. Teachers have the use of a laptop and TV screen for showing video and audio, internet and PowerPoint presentations. There is a teachers’ room for planning and coffee breaks with free tea, coffee and biscuits available throughout the day. Candidates have full access to our computers and a well-stocked teaching library and there is also free WiFi throughout the school. Photocopying and printing for lesson handouts and portfolios are all included.
Our partner CELTA Centre in Buenos Aires is right in the centre of the capital, in between two metro stations. The area is full of bars, restaurants, shopping malls and convenience stores. The cinema is also just a few streets away from the centre on foot. Getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city is also made easy, as one of the city’s main parks is only a stone’s throw away. In terms of getting around, cycling in Buenos Aires is a great way to explore this vast capital. Options for public transport include buses and an underground metro system, one of the first to be introduced in South America.
