About the Centre in Stratford-upon-Avon

The teacher training centre is ideally situated in the heart of the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon, famous for being the birthplace of Shakespeare and one of the top tourist destinations in the UK. The college enjoys a picturesque riverside location and provides English language courses for students who come from all over the world. The English language courses are accredited by the British Council and the College is also a member of English UK. The centre is also accredited by the ISI (Independent Schools Inspectorate) and is a Highly Trusted Sponsor for UKVI (UK Visas and Immigration).

The CELTA centre overlooks the River Avon and is only 400 metres from the town centre and near the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. The building is very pretty and set in big, tree-lined gardens.

Accommodation 2019

Homestay: In our carefully selected homestay accommodation will feel at home and be able to get on with your course work in friendly surroundings. You will have your own room, and half-board meals are provided. All accommodation is local to the school and there is no need to pay extra for additional travel cards.

Prices are from £200 per week for a single room and from £230 per week for a single room with en-suite bathroom.

There is also a £55 placement fee for accommodation.

Stratford-upon-Avon is known for being the birthplace of famous author and playwrite William Shakespeare, attracting travellers from all over the world every year. The historical town boasts the beautiful river Avon with a medieval stone bridge and the town centre has many drama theatres, art galleries, shops, cafes, bars and riverside gardens. Stratford is small and picturesque, typically English town, a perfect location to begin your TESOL career.
