Cuernavaca and Surroundings

Cuernavaca, also known as The City of Eternal Spring, is the capital city of the state of Meroles, located in the south of Mexico City. The city is popular amongst many visitors due to its warm climate all year round. The countryside location of Cuernavaca is also an attraction, as it enriches the city with a pleasant blend of a non-urban city life. Strolling around the centre of the city, you can surround yourself by the tranquillity of beautiful parks and alluring haciendas. It is also a city of art, with many artists around the central plaza, and museums housing world famous art, such as paintings by Frida Kahlo. For those who are more daring, then a post-CELTA adventure awaits you, as the Tepozteco mountains are only 50 minutes away by car!
