About the TESOL Centres in Toronto

The TEFL teacher training centre in Toronto runs 12 CELTA courses and 4 Delta courses per year, and is therefore visited 16 times per year by Cambridge assessors.
The TEFL training centre in Toronto offers bright, modern facilities. Within the CELTA and Delta centre there is a resource room containing a wide collection of textbooks and teacher resource books from all the major ELT publishers. There are visual aids, audio materials, props, audio-visual equipment and computers also.
Jarvis Street Campus
The Jarvis Street training center is in a charming Victorian building, located in the heart of downtown, comes with beautiful features such as stained-glass windows. The school has 17 classrooms over three floors, a computer room, lounge with a kitchen and dining area and a front yard for breaks. Well stocked library available and WiFi can be accessed throughout the building. All CELTA trainees have access to: free printing and photocopying; board pens, paper, card and all necessary stationery; unlimited use of computers; use of whiteboards; an extensive library of teaching materials and reference books related to EFL teaching and language; and advice and support from our teaching and admin staff who have a huge range of experience in all aspects of EFL.

Accommodation at Toronto Jarvis Street
Student House in Toronto
The Toronto Student House is located across the street from the Toronto campus on Jarvis Street. It consists of apartments that accommodate four students each. Students are housed in single private rooms with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. A large fully equipped common kitchen and common bathrooms and showers are available to all residents of the house at a ratio of 1 to 4.
All rooms are fully furnished private rooms with a single bed, drawer space, desk, chair, bedside table and TV set. The house is also equipped with wireless Internet access, a phone line and cable TV. The entire apartment unit is heated in the winter months and air-conditioned in the summer. There are laundry facilities on the ground floor of the apartment at a cost of $2.25 per wash and $1.75 for drying.
A new set of sheets, a pillow, and a blanket is provided for every student upon their arrival to the student house. Students are then expected to wash and maintain their sheets and pillows. Extra sheets, pillows and blankets can be provided at an extra charge.
