The CELTA and Delta TEFL teacher training centre in Perth (Vincent Street CBD) was established in 1989 and is also the largest English as a Second Language (ESL) training centre in Western Australia and one of the four largest teacher training centres in Australia.

The TEFL teacher training centre is next to Beatty Park, half an hour walk from Lake Monger reserve, and a short walk from Leederville train station.

The TESL training centre has many years of experience providing teacher training courses, executive management and communications training to individuals, companies and public bodies both in Perth, Western Australia and overseas.

Scarborough

The CELTA teacher teacher training centre in Scarborough, Perth, is located just 20 minutes from the city centre and only a hundred metres from Perth's famous Scarborough Beach. It's surrounded by a huge variety of hip bars, chilled cafés, cool surf shops, and has a classic, laid-back Australian vibe. The centre is smack bang on Scarborough Beach road, opposite a bus stop with routes into the city.

The teacher training centre is located in two stories of a modern building and shares its premises with a lively language school. It features a multimedia computer suite, with free internet terminals on each floor, free wi-fi throughout the whole school, a student support desk, a student lounge with a large screen television and games console, fully-equipped kitchen with free tea and coffee and an onsite café.

The CELTA and Delta Teacher Trainers

All trainers at the teacher training centres in Perth have been accepted by UCLES after having undergone an extensive trainer-in-training programme. Tutors are all practising teachers of English who divide their time between CELTA and Delta ESL teaching and teacher training in Perth. They are highly qualified and experienced both as teachers and trainers and themselves take part in ongoing training programmes, such as attending conferences and in-house development sessions, in order to keep abreast of the cutting edge of the ELT profession.

The tutors have worked internationally and bring a wide range of key experience, qualifications and knowledge to the course. All trainers undergo a rigorous selection and training process that is monitored by the University of Cambridge.
