The tutors were outstanding!
The course was incredibly well run and delivered. I loved every minute of it despite how tough it was at times.
I’d tell others thinking of taking the course to take it seriously, make sure you are willing to sacrifice every day for an entire month (including every evening) to the course because you will need it.
Shelve any personal commitments. It’s only 1 month of your life but worth it. For me it’s worth more than any course I’ve ever done (and tougher – my Masters included!).
Best advice is to remember the end goal – in most cases teaching in far off fabulous destinations. The world is your oyster!
I have incredibly fond memories of the teacher training centre in Ireland and miss my wonderful tutors, classmates and students. Hopefully I will get the opportunity to return and teach there at some stage.

The Trainers (Temple Bar):All trainers at the partner training centre in Dublin have been accepted by UCLES after having undergone an extensive trainer-in-training programme. Tutors are all practising teachers of English who divide their time between teaching and teacher training. They are highly qualified and experienced both as teachers and trainers and themselves take part in ongoing training programmes, such as attending conferences and in-house development sessions, in order to keep abreast of the cutting edge of the ELT profession. The tutors have worked internationally and bring a wide range of key experience, qualifications and knowledge to the course. All trainers undergo a rigorous selection and training process that is monitored by Cambridge University.
