The facilities were great – we had everything we needed.

Tutors John and Phil were both personable, direct, knowledgeable, and had a sense of humour. They both know their field. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

I’m looking forward to applying what I’ve learned here in my current job as a teacher; I also have many more possibilities as to where I can apply for my next job.

The CELTA may be pricey, and it requires a commitment of a month, during which you can’t do much else, but I honestly think it’s worth it. Having already had some experience as a teacher in the past, I think taking the CELTA has put me in a position to be more confident and effective in my job.

It has also given me a qualification that I can use in the future; I have a much wider range of job options now.

The English teacher training centre in Austin Texas forms part of a language centre that offers a range of ESL classes to international students and the Austin Community. There are currently around 40 teachers and the centre offers over 120 language-based courses per year. The centre boasts modern facilities, ideal for CELTA training. It is easy to get around walking, by bicycle, or by city bus, which is free for students. The CELTA course is certified by the University of Cambridge in England.
