CELTA has been quite a journey! I chose to do my CELTA online part-time over 12 weeks, and it truly was a good choice. CELTA requires a lot of energy, reflection time, and it can be quite stressful at times, and personally, I don’t think I could have done this as an intensive course. I chose the Valencia (Spain) location for the flexibility of the schedule; we were a small group and always able to decide when to do our weekly meetings together. The tutors were excellent; Joanne – superlative! The essence of the great teacher. Thank you Joanne! I feel that although the course is expensive, it is worth every penny. I’m a changed teacher, a lot of the techniques I have learned and tried in my lessons during the course are now part of my everyday teaching, many things I had overlooked in the past are now being fully exploited for the benefits of my students. If you are here reading about CELTA don’t hesitate, do it! I won’t say it’s a life changing experience, but I will say it has changed the whole game. Good luck!
