Barcelona Review
101

Nested in the heart of Barcelona, a vibrant and international city, the centre offers CELTA courses all year round at affordable prices (at least when compared to options in Italy). The school is easy to reach using public transportation from anywhere in the city, and they offer support in finding housing at reasonable prices within walking distance. The area is safe, 20 minutes away from the Barceloneta, and the urbanization favors pedestrians and cyclists. Also, I personally highly value accessibility to quality and healthy food, and I’m happy to say that the area offers a number of options for affordable and delicious food (comprising excellent ethnic restaurants from all around the world).
The school facilities are well organized, all classes have projectors or widescreens, WiFi, whiteboards and computers. The school has also a library with useful materials for lesson planning, a pleasant garden in the back, a water dispenser and a small kitchen.
The school services are good: they close after dinner, so I often stayed there until late to finish my assignments and I could always find a room where to work without being distracted. The staff is friendly and helpful, the course teachers are well prepared and approachable, and there’s always someone who can answer questions or give advice about any difficulty a trainee might encounter during the course.
The course itself is fatiguing. Do not expect a pleasant vacation. Four weeks of intense work, learning and practice, but our trainers did their best to make the steps clear and give us the needed support to overcome all challenges.
