CELTA Certificate Course Seville

We love the idea of studying CELTA in Spain

Seville offers a quality CELTA course run by supportive trainers in a truly beautiful city.

It's been a very full on June CELTA course in Spain. You haven't had time to think of much more than your lesson plans, the ticking clock and the photocopier that has jammed again, so the first thing to do when you finish is come up for some air! You are in Spain, and there are some wonderful things going on around you.

If you have been doing the CELTA in Seville in July, it'll be hot by now, with temperatures frequently reaching 40 °C ( 104 °F ) and staying hot through the night, so we think the places to head to are either the beach, or to the cooler climes of the North.

Now we all know about beaches, but what about other things going on in Spain in July?

A number of encierros (bull runs) take place in July, the most important being the Pamplona Bull Run at the San Fermin Festival (July 7-14) with others in Zumaia (in the first week July) and in Tudela from July 24 until July 28. Now don't go crazy and think of getting out there with the bulls. Respect the fact that this is a time honoured tradition for locals who are prepared for the festival. Foreign go-hards are often the ones who ignorantly put others and themselves in danger.

Jazz music is the focus in the Getxo International Jazz Festival in the first week of July, one in Vitoria in the third week of the month, San Sebastian in the middle of July and another music festival takes place on San Ignacio Loyola Day (July 31).

Head to Extremadura to the famous Roman city of Merida and experience the Drama festival that takes place in the famous Roman theatre.

If you aren't tired of bulls running ragged, in the first two weeks of July in the Festival "Bous a la Mar" (Toros en el Mar), there is a bull run to the water's edge in Denia, near Valencia.

Another great thing to do is El Camino de Santiago, arriving in Santiago de Compostela in time for the July 25 Apostle's festival. You can meet many people along the way and share the walk with others. However, just between you and me, the Camino that starts in Seville, following La Ruta de la Plata, is a road less travelled, very beautiful, a tad warm, but with far fewer travellers. If you are looking for a chance to really disconnect, it's a gem.

The completion of a CELTA Certificate changes your professional direction, and it will change your life. Take a well earned break after the course to recharge before launching freshly equipped into the TEFL jobs market. Enjoy!

Rosa Ferrera (Spain), who completed her CELTA training in Seville, Spain, writes:

"In my opinion being a native English speaker is not enough to teach English as a foreign language. So I decided to apply for the best course and the best and most recommended Teacher Training Center available in Seville.

Today's workplace is in a constant state of change and many are choosing English language teaching as a rewarding job change.

Despite the current economic situation, well qualified English language teachers are sort after. Take the opportunity to go somewhere different to do your CELTA training!
