Teacher Training in Malaga, Spain
The Training Centre
The training center is a satellite of our training centre in Seville and enjoys the prestige of being associated with one of the longest-running and most successful Spanish language schools in Spain, and one of the largest English language teaching centres in Andalucia.
The CELTA course takes place at our partner school in the lovely Pedregalejo district of east Malaga, 2 minutes walk from the beach.
Staffing at the Teacher Training Centre in Malaga
All trainers on our courses have been accepted by UCLES after having undergone an extensive trainer-in-training programme. Tutors are all practising teachers of English who divide their time between teaching and teacher training. They are highly qualified and experienced both as teachers and trainers and themselves take part in ongoing training programmes, such as attending conferences and in-house development sessions, in order to keep abreast of the cutting edge of the ELT profession.

Malaga, La Costa del Sol & Surroundings
Malaga City is known as the Capital of the Costa del Sol and is a thriving port town with over 30 museums, a pedestrianised shopping centre, innovative restaurants and stylish hotels, many featuring trendy rooftop terraces with bar, pool and stunning views. Years ago, it was a poor cousin of Seville, a small port town, but over the years it has reinvented itself and apart from being the gateway to the beautiful Spanish coast, it is a great town to stay in.
Places to visit include Muelle Uno, a leisure complex in the port and a new grass roots art district call SOHO. The opening of the Picasso Museum in 2003 as well as an satellite of the famous Thyssen Museum in Madrid has increased cultural interest in this part of Andalusia. The city has excellent transport, cuisine and fascinating monuments, from Moorish and Roman times through to modern day - while retaining its Andalusian feel. And let's not get started on the beaches and day trips to beautiful white villages in the hill country of Malaga....
