Founded in 1996, the Teacher Training Centre in Oxford has quickly established itself as one of the UK's most respected specialist English language Teacher Training centres.
The Teacher Training Centre in Oxford is one of the UK's first dedicated EFL teacher training centres where all our training and development courses take place.

During the course you will have access to a full range of teaching materials, our Teacher Training library, Wi-Fi internet and photocopier use. In addition to all the titles recommended on the UCLES CELTA reading lists, we stock a comprehensive range of materials in applied linguistics and other ELT areas. We also subscribe to all the major ELT monthly journals to keep you up to date on the latest developments in the industry.
Teacher Training Centre – Location & Facilities:
Our brand new building is located in the heart of Oxford next to the Oxford County Council library, close to the High Street, Carfax Tower and the pedestrian Cornmarket area with its trendy covered market, shops and cafés. The school is also just a short walk from the beautiful Christ Church meadow and College, which was featured in the recent Harry Potter films.
All our classrooms are modern and comfortable and some offer the latest advances in learning facilities, such as interactive whiteboards, which make lessons even more fun.
The computer room is fitted with 9 modern wide-screen computers and offers free high-speed internet connection. Laptop users can also enjoy free Wi-Fi connection throughout the building.

Each of our trainers is a highly qualified professional and a practising teacher possessing as a minimum degree, an English teaching diploma (DELTA) and many years teaching experience.

Note: Students should arrive at their accommodation on Saturday or Sunday. For students wishing to arrive on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, one full week's accommodation charge will apply. For students arriving from Thursday onwards a nightly rate will apply (weekly rate divided by 7). All midweek arrivals are subject to availability and may not be possible year-round and needs to be checked before booking.
