The CELTA Training Centre in Adelaide
The Adelaide Teacher Training Center was established in Adelaide in 1992 to train English language teachers.
The Centre now offers teacher training courses to native and non-native speakers of English and it is an approved University of Cambridge Teacher Training Centre offering teacher training programmes leading to the University of Cambridge qualification in teaching English, i.e. CELTA Certificate.

- The Adelaide Teacher Training Center is located in a recently renovated heritage building that was built in the 1920's. The campus features 16 spacious classrooms, a large computer centre, student common room and kitchen, and a student self access centre.

The CELTA Trainers in Adelaide
Permanent internal and external teacher training guarantees that the trainers at the Adelaide Center use the latest teacher training methods and resources.
All trainers meet the requirements of the National ELT Accreditation Scheme (NEAS) as well as the Cambridge ESOL teacher training requirements. All trainers have specialist English language teaching qualifications.

CELTA Employment
The CELTA Teacher Training Center in Adelaide has conducted Cambridge CELTA courses since 1992 and CELTA students who received their CELTA Certificate in Adelaide have found teaching employment not only in Australia but also in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and South America.
Each CELTA course includes an employment workshop which provides practical advice on employment opportunities in Australia and around the world. The Training Center also maintains an update job notice-board with details of many TESOL/TEFL teaching positions offered in a range of countries. The CELTA trainers will also be happy to advise you regarding TESOL/TEFL employment opportunities.
Accommodation
For those trainees from outside Adelaide requiring accommodation for the time the CELTA course runs for, the Training Center can help with accommodation arrangements.

- Accommodation arrangement fee: AU$190
- Home-stay: AU$240 per week
- The home-stay fee includes breakfast and dinner from Mon. - Fri., with 3 meals at the weekends
Hostel accommodation or similar can also be organised for those CELTA students who prefer to live independently, however, this option will not be as economical and the price will vary depending on what is available at the time of requesting it.
A 24 hour airport welcome and transfer service is also available. Prices 2013: AU$80 one way / AU$160 return.
