Who are we?
StudyCELTA is a dynamic team of professionals working in the field of English language teaching since 1999. Our experience ranges from being currently practising English language teachers to having held management roles in language schools in Australasia and Europe.
We're here to help and give you our advice based on personal knowledge of the locations where the programmes are offered and of English language teaching as a career.
Where our students are trained
Through our network of partner training centers we are able to offer teacher training programmes in 13 countries and 24 different cities and counting!
The EFL industry in Australia and New Zealand has been in good shape for the last few years, and every year, thousands of overseas students come to these countries to take their English courses.
Most of the past trainees that took their teacher training courses in Australia or New Zealand found jobs in these countries or made the move to Asian countries (e.g. China, Japan, and Korea) where they had job offers lined up before they left.
France, Italy, Germany, Spain and Malta are the perfect locations for those seeking to complete their courses and look for work opportunities in Europe afterwards. The living costs in Spain, Sicily and Malta tend to be lower than in other countries, and completing your teacher training course there also offers the perfect opportunity for you to learn some Spanish in the case of Spain (ask for information about our Spanish + CELTA course special packages), or just the simple fact of enjoying being trained on a beautiful Island in the middle of the Mediterranean sea like Malta and Sicily.
As for the option of being trained in Bournemouth, Oxford, Newcastle or London UK; strategically, the UK is also a good place to be trained if you are planning to stay and continue your career in teaching English as a second language once you finish your course.
Every year, thousands of students from all over Europe and other parts of the world travel to the UK to learn English; consequently the demand for qualified and experienced teachers is always there.
